Awards

Mike Stilman Award for Outstanding Paper — Finalist IEEE-RAS International Conference on Humanoid Robots (Humanoids 2025), Seoul, South Korea. One of two finalists selected from 202 submissions, for TARS3D.

Best Safety Features Award — Micron UV Robot Design Challenge, 2020. Won against 400 contestants as the only one-person team, with the robot designed in under three days.

Gold Medal, Autonomous Humanoid Penalty Kick — RoboGames 2017, San Francisco. India’s first RoboGames gold medal. Also took Silver (humanoid freestyle), Silver (biped race), and Bronze (RC humanoid sumo) at the same event, and Bronze at RoboGames 2015.

Third Place, Humanoid Application Challenge — IROS 2017, Vancouver.

Best Graduation Thesis — EEE Department, SRM University, 2017 (among 700+ students).

Winner, National Maker Summit — IIT Madras, 2016, for Aawaaz, a bone-conduction hearing aid.

WAT Consult Best Innovation Award — Atmos Techfest, BITS Pilani Hyderabad, 2017.

IEEE Senior Member. The highest grade for which IEEE members can apply, held by a minority of members and conferred only on those with significant demonstrated professional achievement.
